Softening of lines that form when you frown, squint or raise your brows, or other facial areas as needed.
Anti-wrinkle injections relax specific facial muscles so the lines those muscles create become less pronounced. They are most often used across the forehead, between the brows and at the outer corners of the eyes.
Results are not immediate. Most people notice a change from around day three to day seven, and the effect settles by about two weeks. It is temporary: muscle action returns gradually, typically over three to four months, and varies considerably between people.
This is a prescription medicine and it is not suitable for everyone. Whether it is appropriate for you is a decision made at consultation, after your history and what you are hoping for have been discussed — not something that can be decided from a website.
Every procedure on this site carries risk. These are the material ones for anti-wrinkle injections; the full list, and how they apply to you specifically, is part of the consultation.
Results vary between people and no outcome is guaranteed. If you are concerned about something after treatment, call — that is what the number is for. In an emergency, call 000.
